While I cannot do anything about the 6 month to 12 month extension of preventative detention, it seems incredibly unfair, especially given Silvio’s full cooperation with the authorities from the moment he “voluntarily” returned to Italy and throughout these past months. I would hope his attorneys are continuing along the parallel track of providing a defense for his trial and appealing to other judicial authorities to release him from detention.
