Scaglia Story by Vincino: inquinare le prove

‘To contaminate the evidence’… I think there first of all needs to be evidence of wrong doing to begin with. This 162 day process does not seem to follow any legitimate legal procedure, it sounds likely that it is politically motivated,(from the little information I get by using Google translate).
Now I don’t know what ramifications the problem’s the Italian government finds itself in at the moment will have on the matter, but it seems like the persecutor suddenly have a sense of urgency. Is the balance of power in Italian politics shifting, and thus having an influence on a (technically speaking) legal process?

May common sense and justice prevail.

DDV, quite complicate to explain the history of Italy in the last 50 years, I am afraid, to try to explain the current situation of italian justice. An ongoing fight takes place since decades between politicians (be them at the helm or of the country or not) and magistrates. The first have undoubtedly called themselves exempt from magistrate actions. The latter seem to compensate the lack of moral attitude of the rulers, by acting here, there and everywhere. As politicians are often found with hands in the jam jar, the immediately claim it is a political action dictated by politics and not by sense of justice. Sometime right and sometime wrong.
The trick is also the full indipendency of magistrates from any state power other than their own Board (partially controlled by politicians).
This enables them to act virtually free with no responsability of whatsoever form.
This is just a brief and partial summary, given by a non-expert. Not the full picture.
